St Andrews
The demolition of the cedar tree left an unsightly space in the front garden. Happily, this has now been filled with a shrub bed by courtesy of Roger Bradley’s horticultural skill and the significant generosity of another member of the congregation in purchasing shrubs. If you are passing the church during a dry spell please water the bed: a watering can is kept near the bins in the front garden

The Feast of St Peter and St Paul
Collect
Almighty God,
whose blessed apostles Peter and Paul
glorified you in their death as in their life:
grant that your Church,
inspired by their teaching and example,
and made one by your Spirit,
may ever stand firm upon the one foundation,
Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
