Notices for week beginning 25th December 2017
Headlines
A very Happy Christmas, and good wishes for the New Year to everyone when it comes.
Diocesan Episcopal Election
It has been announced that the Preparatory Committee having met shortly before Christmas failed to achieve a shortlist of candidates for consideration. It is presumed that the wish of the Diocese will be for the process to be repeated in the New Year in the hope that a fresh shortlist can be achieved. The Electoral Synod meets next on Saturday 27th January when any developments will be discussed.

This week
Sunday 31st December 2017
1st Sunday of Christmas
Almighty God,
in the birth of your Son
you have poured on us the new light of your incarnate Word,
and shown us the fullness of your love:
help us to walk in his light and dwell in his love
that we may know the fullness of his joy;
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever.
