Sunday 17th December
We have just finished Carol Service Sunday. It is hard to convey gratitude to the many who had a hand in providing the music, readings and refreshments for both services, which, in view of the adverse weather conditions were very well supported.
The Revd. David McCreadie RIP
David died on the 13th December after a long illness bravely fought.
Many in Callander will have known David, a much loved and respected figure, both as a former minister of St Kessog’s and latterly when he returned to the town in retirement. The funeral will take place at the Kirk on Friday 22nd December: the time of the service will be confirmed.

Christmas Services Sunday 24th December
Almighty God,
you make us glad with the yearly remembrance
of the birth of your Son Jesus Christ:
grant that, as we joyfully receive him as our redeemer,
so we may with sure confidence behold him
when he shall come to be our judge;
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Christmas Day
Eternal God,
who made this most holy night
to shine with the brightness of your one true light:
bring us, who have known the revelation of that light on earth,
to see the radiance of your heavenly glory;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
