Saturday 18th June
The Summer Fair at Aberfoyle raised just over £600.00. The weather was on our side and Aberfoyle full of tourists; a perfect recipe for success. A debt of gratitude is due to those who masterminded the day, as well as those turned out to set-up and take away, the stallholders and those who provided goods to stock them. Thank you everyone for your support.
Meanwhile at St Andrew’s, the Callander Chorale directed by Ian Milligan provided some delightful afternoon musical entertainment. A sum of £180.00 was raised for Strathcarron Hospice. Refreshments were provided after by Fiona Gibson and her team: many thanks for that and for the kindness of an anonymous person(s) who set the tables beforehand.
The concert at St Mary’s on Saturday evening served as a reminder that Alistair Savage is a wonderfully versatile musician.
This concert is the first in a series of events that will be held for the remainder of the year at 3 o’clock on the third Sunday afternoon of each month. Full details will be available shortly. The concert organising committee are warmly thanked.
St Andrew’s Someone has anonymously filled all the tubs at the front of church with plants. Whoever you might be, this is much appreciated as is Sandra and Joan’s labours as church cleaners.

Almighty and everlasting God,
by whose Spirit the whole body of the Church
is governed and sanctified:
hear our prayer which we offer for all your faithful people,
that in their vocation and ministry
they may serve you in holiness and truth
to the glory of your name;
through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
