Wednesday 6th December 19.30 Loch Ard History Group at Kinlochard James Kennedy writes
Although it is our Christmas “Members Night” with mince pies and some mulled wine, the Loch Local History Group are more than happy if any of you would like to come along to the evening which could not get more local. The regular December event of “My House” will be presented by Joyce Kelly and feature Kinlochard Cottages. It will also cover the social history and background that led to the houses being built and what folk got up to in those times (Well not everything!). Promises to be an interesting evening with a lot of research both academic and anecdotal provided to Joyce by some who have been in the houses since they were built (there is a £4 charge for non-members).

The Second Sunday of Advent
O Lord, raise up, we pray, your power and come among us,
and with great might succour us;
that whereas, through our sins and wickedness
we are grievously hindered
in running the race that is set before us,
your bountiful grace and mercy
may speedily help and deliver us;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
to whom with you and the Holy Spirit,
be honour and glory, now and for ever.
