Sunday 16 October

St Mary’s Third Sunday at Three series

15.00 Ecclesiastical Heraldry Illustrated talk by Elizabeth Roads, LVO, FSA, FSA (Scot), Snawdoun Herald of Arms. Ecclesiastical heraldry is literally woven into the fabric of all of Scotland’s main-stream churches, particularly the Roman Catholic Church. You do not need to be an expert on heraldry, or ecclesiastical matters, to learn something of this colorful subject, which will give an insight to many of Scotland’s buildings, not just churches.
