Notices for the week beginning 22nd August
St Mary’s ‘Third Sunday at Three’ concert series
Encouraging numbers came to the concert held on the 21st August. Thank you to all who supported it and above all to the organizing committee. The next concert will be held on Sunday 18th September (see below)
St Andrew’s Cedar Tree
By degrees, our tree is being dismantled. In view of the size, this operation has required careful planning and co-ordination. We are most grateful for the help of all concerned thus far. From time to time small piles of waste timber might be seen stacked in the grounds: please take anything that may be of use and encourage others to do likewise.
St Andrews apples
The apples in the back garden are ripening. Please pick these in due course to avoid them being wasted.
For your prayers
Jenny, the sister of John Champness recently diagnosed with serious illness.
Ann Andrews, the daughter-in-law of Christine Ffinch undergoing treatment.
Struan Seymour, his parents and grandparents.
