St Mary’s Vestry meets on the 15th July. One item on the Agenda will be discussion of a suitable recipient of St Mary’s charitable giving. If you have suggestions for a favored cause, please let Richard have a note of this in writing by Saturday 9th July to allow time for circulation to Vestry members. The suggestion should include a note of the aims of the charity and reasons for the proposal.

Collects
Merciful God,
you have prepared for those who love you
such good things as pass our understanding:
pour into our hearts such love toward you
that we, loving you in all things and above all things,
may obtain your promises,
which exceed all that we can desire;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Almighty God,
whose blessed apostles Peter and Paul
glorified you in their death as in their life:
grant that your Church,
inspired by their teaching and example,
and made one by your Spirit,
may ever stand firm upon the one foundation,
Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
