Igor and Oleksiy, top class professional musicians from Ukraine (Kyiv Classic Accordionist Duo), are back performing and touring the UK this summer in aid of the Hippokrat Society in Northern Ukraine – providing support and therapy for young adults damaged by Chernobyl fall-out. They play button accordions which together create a sound like a small orchestra.
The programme will feature great classical pieces in the first half – Mozart: Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Grieg: Peer Gynt suite, Vivaldi: Summer from the Four Seasons
And music
from Eastern Europe including Ukraine of course – and perhaps a tango or two
There
may also be a couple of operatic arias – accordion and bass voice. Refreshments are served at the interval, included in the ticket price. Tickets are available from Philip Gaskell philipgaskell52@btinternet.com or

God our redeemer,
who inspired William Wilberforce to witness to your love

be fired by your Spirit to proclaim the gospel in our daily living
and never to rest content until your kingdom come,
on earth as it is in heaven;
