Friends of Perth Cathedral Music welcome Alister Allan & Friends from Tayside Opera in concert at Perth Cathedral St Ninian’s, North Methven Street, Perth for a lunchtime concert. Tickets available at the door: £5; £3 Concessions; £2 for FPCM members; accompanied children FREE. Everybody welcome. Proceeds go towards musical training in the Cathedral. Also on this day there is the Community Lunch at the Cathedral, from 12-noon to 1.30pm, price £4.50. If you come to the concert and would like to follow with the lunch, produce your concert ticket and your lunch will cost you £3.50.

Scottish National Walsingham Pilgrimage Annunciationtide Festival – is being held at 12 noon at St Columba’s-by-the Castle Church, 14 Johnston Terrace, Edinburgh, EH1 2PW. Mass is at 12 noon and the preacher will be the Right Rev. Dr. Gregor Duncan, Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway. Their new Pilgrimage Priest in Charge, the Rev. David Mumford will be celebrant. The Mass will be followed by a bring and share lunch – hot drinks provided. This is an opportunity to discover more about Our Lady of Walsingham and to book for the annual Scottish pilgrimage to Walsingham which is from Friday 23-Monday 26 September 2016.
